VMWare is software to virtual machine (the machine virtual). Its function was to undertake many operation systems in one hardware and to undertake the application that was aimed to other operating system.

VMWare enabled some the operation systems was undertaken to one PC machine single simultaneously. This could be done without doing the repeated partition and boot repeated. To the machine virtual that was provided will be undertaken by the operation system in accordance with that was wanted. Its means the user could boot an operation system (ex: Linux) as host operating system (the system of the host operation) and then undertook the other operation system (ex: Ms Windows). The operation system that was undertaken inside host operating system the house was known with guest operating system (the system of the guest operation).
